Importance of Technology in our Daily Life
Technology is something that is trending now and every company, all India exams, applications for colleges, jobs, etc are online now since it has many advantages like Simpler process, cuts time, cost efficiency and secures all important details. Technology has various aspects. It can be the machinery and equipment developed from the application of scientific knowledge or the branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.
For example, JEE exams used to be written exams and in 2019 one paper has changed to an online mode of examination. JEE MAIN Exam is trying to make it more advanced and includes better technology by making the entire examination and application forms computer based.
The 6 types of technology that will be used in the future are:
- Mobile Technology
- Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Drones
- 3D painting
- Virtual reality and Wearables
- Artificial intelligence
These are something which will change the world and more of machines and robots will be found on earth and manual work will comparatively reduce. These are some of the innovations that are created to make people’s lives easier in the near future.
Why is technology important?
- Other people are reading- During exams the students will not be scared about others reading their answers.
- Efficiency of operations- Technology also helps a business understand its cash flow needs and preserve precious resources such as time and physical space.
- Security- It secures all the important information and can be accessed only by the authorized people.
- Research capacity- The Internet allows a business to virtually travel into new markets without the cost of an executive jet or the risks of creating a factory abroad.
Therefore technology is one thing that will cause a major impact on our lives in the future. JEE Main 2020 will adopt the new methods of conducting exams and is a great example to explain the usage of technology in the education field too.
What is JEE?
Joint entrance examination is an exam conducted for engineering students to get admitted into the national institutes of technology and other colleges which are designated as “centrally funded technical institutes.” The best one is IIT- Indian Institute of Technology, which has seven branches or zones in different states of India namely Kharagpur, Delhi, Kanpur, Roorkee, Bombay, Madras and Guwahati under the guidance of Joint admission board (JAB). There are few other top colleges too which consider JEE results. This exam was first called AIEEE- All India Engineering Examination, but later changed to JEE. JEE Main 2020 will be conducted by NTA usually in the months of January and April.
JEE main is one of the exams that has developed software to conduct online exams. Very soon many more exams will follow. There are two papers which have to be attempted for JEE mains. Candidates can choose either one of it or both the papers. Paper 1 is for admission in B.Tech and paper 2 is for B. Arch and B.Planning courses. The second paper is conducted only offline.
JEE main is a fixed structure and will not change every year. It is for duration of three hours and has 30 multiple choice questions. It is an important document for the students. The exam is conducted in an online mode.
From 2013-16 the marks obtained in 12th grade was a 40% basis to clear the JEE exam. From 2016 they made aadhar card compulsory to attend JEE exams. In 2019, JEE mains will be conducted twice a year by the national testing agency and students can write both the times. The number of applicants that are taking the exam have changed over the years:

Everything, starting from application till checking results is made easy for candidates to take up the exams. This is accessible and affordable by all everyone. People with basic computer knowledge also, can utilize the facility.
Therefore the change in technology over the years has made it easy for students to take the exams and even the systems have been made more free and accessible.
